Flight safety

Overview of flight safety

Flight environment

a. Flight operations must be carried out in an open area away from crowds, and tall reinforced buildings may cause interference with the compass and GPS signals on the aircraft;

b. Flight operations must be carried out at an altitude of less than 4,000 meters;

c. The working temperature is kept at 0°C~40°C, and the working humidity is 10%~90%;

d. Do not fly in bad weather conditions, such as strong winds (wind speed of 8m/s and above), heavy rain (rainfall of 25mm or more in 12 hours), snow, haze, etc.;

e. During normal operation, the flight altitude shall be controlled below 120 meters, and local laws and regulations must be strictly observed;

f. In order to prevent the remote controller from interfering with other wireless devices, be sure to turn off other wireless devices in the same band before using the aircraft remote controller;

i. It is forbidden to fly near electromagnetic interference sources (including but not limited to: high-voltage power lines, high-voltage transmission stations, mobile phone base stations and television broadcast towers, etc.), if the interference source is too large, the aircraft will not be able to fly normally.

Pre-flight checks

a. Make sure that the batteries of the remote controller and aircraft are sufficient, and that the batteries of the aircraft are installed in place and locked.

b. Ensure that the propeller is installed tightly, no damage and deformation, the motor and propeller are clean and free of foreign objects, the propeller and arm are fully deployed, and the arm sleeve is tightened.

c. Make sure the remote control antenna is deployed.

d. Place the aircraft outdoors in a flat and open area, ensure that there are no obstacles, buildings, trees, etc., and the pilot is 5 meters away from the aircraft and facing the tail.

e. Enter the flight interface of the handheld ground station and check the relevant parameters of the aircraft according to the "Pre-flight Check" list.

f. If multiple aircraft are operating at the same time, please divide the airspace to avoid collision in the air and cause serious safety accidents.

During the flight

a. When taking off and landing, maintain a distance of 26 feet (8 meters) from the aircraft.

b. Maintain visual contact with the aircraft at all times. The JIUSI drone limits the distance you can keep the drone away from the controller to ensure you maintain proper control.

c. As required by the FAA, please do not attempt to fly your drone above 400 feet.

d. Place your hand on the flight control device to ensure the flight is controlled.

e. Do not fly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. f. Respect the space and privacy of others.

Regulatory Policies

Drone users are requested to check local regulations before flying and perform the flight mission under legal and safe conditions. JIUSI provides the collated regulatory documents of various countries for your reference. As the laws and regulations related to drones in various countries will be updated from time to time, please refer to the local policies for details.
